I’m a Company Girl! Here are the Home Sanctuary items I have successfully completed!! Sanctuary is in the small things.

• April 4 - Say “Welcome” in any language - Swept off my front porch.  Disposed of a Snowman mat and all it’s shreds that littered the corners of the porch.  Also threw away various bits of garbage that showed up under the melted snow.  Swept cobwebs away from the front door.  I still need to purchase a new mat, but it’s clean and happy!
• April 3 - Oh Yeah. Sweet Ride - How very, very timely! The weekends are the only time that I ever ride in the passenger side of our Element. The past couple times, as I open the door on that side, I’ve heard that telltale sticky rubber sound of spilled juice along the door tray. EW!! So, this morning, after coming back from groceries, I left the car in the middle of the driveway, grabbed a small bucket with water and Mr. Clean and a small brush and gave that doorway a quick rinsing! (And while I was there, emptied out all the water bottles and discarded toys and straw wrappers.) My DH is going to be thrilled!
• April 2 - Today’s Small Thing-y - I spent 10 minutes removing clothes that don’t fit (or I haven’t worn in over a year) from my closet. I only planned to do it for 5 minutes, but it was easier than I thought. I’m not done, but already I have enough hangers again and feel a lot better!!
