Smile, God loves you…

Did you ever get a warm fuzzy when you remembered someone special? And remembered that they love you. I still get that way when I think “John loves me.” My heart gets fuller. I smile inside. Pulse quickens. “Oh yeah.” **Smile**
I believe that’s what’s supposed to happen when you hear someone say that God loves you…isn’t it?

So true, Lundie!
Just like we get warm fuzzies from remembering how we were proposed to (and it’ll even help
to forgive our spouses when we look at conflicts from the perspective of love), we grow in the
Lord when we take time to reflect on our salvation. Christ didn’t die for us because He knew
we’d be an awesome Christian spokesperson. He died for us out of mercy so that we might
have a relationship with the Father despite of our sin.
Mark 9: 11-13 “When the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, “Why is your Teacher
eating with the tax collectors and sinners?” But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those
who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick. “But go and learn what this
means: ‘I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT SACRIFICE,’ for I did not come to call the righteous,
but sinners.”
Yes, it is. And God really, really loves you.
