Cicadas and crickets both creep me out. At our old house we had a screened-in porch, and we'd get crickets in there... my lovely cat decided to hunt one and bring it to me, live, as a gift, and drop it at my feet. I screamed and jumped onto the bed. My poor husband and cat were both in shock- lol! Oh, I so do not envy you right now. Cicadas and crickets both creep me out.
