Friday Fortitude
Ok, I’m jumping on this bandwagon a little late in the day. (If I’d read the post all the way through this morning, I would have done things a little differently, but alas…)
- The Chores
- Staff Meeting with God
- Taking Care of Me
Making sure my sink is clean tonight will be about the most I can accomplish without keeping myself up all night.
This is such an interesting idea for me. When I worked as an administrative assistant I used to grab my notebook, pen, and would go sit in my bosses office with an attitude of openness and servitude, waiting for direction and instruction. I would take notes and then depart with a “blessed” tasklist. If only I could have this same relationship with my Heavenly Father, my Lord, my Master…what a really cool idea…
I usually don’t have any problem doing this part. Usually I will sit down and watch a show or two that I have on TiVo. My TV watching has taken a steep decline over the past few months as our little Punkin’ has become fully active and unable to stay in one place for more that 15 or 20 seconds at a time.
