Godstops
This is another phrase picked up from Believing God I was talking about yesterday. She talks about journaling Godstops during this time period of attending to our personal holiness. It’s about “Savoring The Observable Presence” of God.
I love the idea of making note and celebrating things that I recongnize as being God’s hand in my life. So, I will continue to blog, but I will place comments on this post to track the GodSTOPs that I observe over the remainder of this year.
I hope that you also have the opportunity to see God working visibly in your life.

11/9 – I was having a horrible day. I’d overbooked and overscheduled myself. My workload seemed like a million tons. I also recently likened it to herding cats. I was at my wits end. I prayed, hard, with tears, to be rescued and helped.
I was given Psalm 34. My schedule rearranged itself. I was able to take a walk with a friend and clear my head.
The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:17-18

Forwarded some info on FlyLady to a friend on what I thought to be a whim, and later found that it was “coincidentally timely”. I get goosebumps when God uses me to encourage others when I don’t realize it!
